In The Trenches

I think owning a classic trench coat is some sort of rite of passage into adulthood.  Back in my college days I wouldn’t have dreamed of wearing such a classic wardrobe staple on those weekend nights out…  Instead I was throwing on my fleece zip-up jacket over a strategically selected tank top and jeans ensemble.  (That’s a story for another day, but I think we all wore some form of jeans and a tank top every.single.weekend).  Now that I’m a proper 29-year-old, it’s necessary that a trench coat is a part of my wardrobe rotation.  And it’s nice because a trench never really goes out of style.

Speaking of classic wardrobe pieces, this sweater dress is definitely a keeper.  I’m fairly certain I’ve expressed my love for sweater dresses multiple times before, but I love a simple sweater dress and boots for the office.
