In the Name of No Makeup – My Skin Care Favorites

Face Mask // Everlane Sweatshirt // Gap Pajamas Pants // J.Crew Slippers

How are you holding up with social distancing? If nothing else, I hope to emerge from quarantine looking 10 years younger with glowing, blemish-free skin. I’ve put on make-up approximately 4 times in the last 22 days for a couple zoom calls, but that only consisted of concealer, eyebrow gel, mascara and lip gloss. On the other hand, I’ve enjoyed using alllllll my masks and serums on a consistent basis.

If you’re looking to upgrade your skincare routine in the name of no make-up, here are my top picks I’ve been using on a daily basis. And great news – Nordstrom is offering 15% off beauty picks!! The promotion ends Tuesday at 9am eastern.

Aesop Facial Cleansing Masque // I love Aesop products and this mask contains antioxidants and helps clarify and balance skin after 10 minutes. I’ve been using it once a week to clear my skin and leave it balanced and more prepped to absorb my moisturizer.

Elemis Pro-Collagen Advanced Eye Treatment // This was a recent purchase and so far I really like it! I use half a squirt both in the morning and evening around the corners of my eyes and under-eye area. It targets fine lines and wrinkles and is incredibly light, so you can wear concealer over it.

Shop

Shiseido Pure Retinol Eye Mask // These are kind of a splurge I save for special occasions, but Zak and I used them this past weekend for a little pick-me-up. They really are a wrinkle eraser. I typically use them at night before bed so the serum can soak in.

Shop

Maelove Glow Maker // I’ve been putting this serum on my face in the morning on the days I’ve gone 100% make-up free. It’s a very affordable and effective blend of Vitamin C, D and Hyaluronic Acid that brightens my complexion.

Shop

Crystal Facial Roller // Using this facial roller with the Vitamin C is another daytime ritual. You roll it in outward and upward motion for a relaxing facial massage to stimulate your muscles.

Shop

Elemis Resurfacing Pads // Another recent purchase, I’ve used these pads once a week as a gentle, yet effective exfoliator.
