My Review of Sarah Flint Shoes

Camel Coat // Plaid Pants // Sarah Flint Loafers

How are you holding up this month? We’re two weeks into January and admittedly it has already felt long. It’s been very cold and dark in Chicago and we’re kind of stuck inside again given the covid surge of it all. Despite that, I’ve been keeping my routine of getting up early and working out, getting ready for work and putting on a cute outfit even while I’m working at home. It makes such a difference for my mental state!

My favorite ‘house shoe’ to slip on at home if I’m not padding around in socks are loafers. I recently got my first pair of Sarah Flint shoes, the Alysia x Gravati loafers to be exact, and let me tell you the hype about the quality is valid. I’ve seen Sarah Flint shoes pop up on Instagram for a couple years now and they always looked to classic and well made, so I was excited to try them for myself.

From the moment I unboxed these loafers, the quality of the leather and handcrafted details were apparent. All of their shoes are 100% made in Italy and the quality of the stitching and fit are unmatched. Plus, I love that it’s a woman owned and designed company!

So, how do they run? This was the biggest happy surprise for me, because from the first time I slide them on they fit perfectly true to size. You know how when you buy a new pair of leather loafers or heels you have a bit of ‘wear in time’ before they get comfortable? Maybe you get a blister or two the first couple of wears while they break in? Not with these. Honestly, fit like a GLOVE. A comfortable glove with a little touch of padding, no blisters. I walked maybe 15-20 mins to the office the first time I wore them and they were SO comfortable.

As I’ve gotten older and streamlined my wardrobe, I really focus on buying timeless, quality pieces that will last for years and years. My most worn pieces are a designer blazer I got 5 years ago, high quality jeans and a classic leather belt. Timeless wardrobe staples. Sarah Flint shoes fit right into that description and I can’t wait to snag a second pair.
