3 Ways to Style Flare Jeans

I read a few articles lately that said skinny jeans are out and honestly, I think that’s crap. First, a dark, classic pair of skinny jeans are timeless. Especially with a cute loafer or sneakers. Second, you should wear whatever style and denim cut is the most flattering on your body! If skinny jeans make you look and feel good, wear them.

Skinny, straight and mildly flared jeans (these kick crop jeans from Everlane are my fave) are typically in heavy rotation. BUT, I do love to mix it up with a new shape now and then. So, I was PUMPED when Everlane launched a modern flare jean with an iconic 70s look. It’s always fun to switch it up!

I recently posted about that 70s flare jeans look in this post AND my treasured Abercrombie flare jeans I bought for 20 bucks about 5 years ago. I’m happy to report these flares from Everlane are just as good AND under $100! I found these are a very flattering balance to my hips and I was happy to see they work perfectly with both sneakers and boots. The bottoms of the jeans don’t drag at all when I’m wearing with sneakers which is rare for flares.

These run true to size – I’m wearing my usual size 27. They have a bit of stretch, so even though they are high rise you can still breathe (necessary) and sit comfortably. They also come in black and a light blue wash that I love for spring!
