My Favorite Everlane Jeans

How’s everyone holding up with social distancing? This is hard and unprecedented and we’re all in this together. In an effort to take a moment of mental escape, I was doing some retail therapy. As you know, I adore Everlane and they have so wonderfully surprised the community with a $50 denim sale this week! Now through 3/22!

I’ve talked about Everlane denim and sizing a ton on my Instagram stories (check out my Everlane sizing highlight on my profile) but wanted to talk about my top 3 favorites in a post for your reference. A note about sizing: I wear a size 27 in all of these jeans below, which is my usual size in jeans or pants from Madewell, Levi’s, etc. I find their jeans all run true to size. Also, I’m 5’5 for height reference and I have more of an hourglass shape. Meaning, I have hips.

ONE // Kick Crop Denim

Kick Crop Jean in Dark Blue Wash – also have these in black! // Arguably my most worn pair of Everlane jeans since they look great with sneakers and are the perfect length to pair with ankle booties. I love these jeans for the length and that the bottom kind of ‘kicks’ out a bit to balance my hips. It’s important to note these jeans are a stiff denim with very little stretch. The first couple wears they are a bit snug, but then they kind of form to your body. They hem is raw, so I cut mine to my preferred length at home with a sharp pair of scissors.

 

TWO // Authentic Stretch Mid Rise Skinny

 

Authentic Stretch Mid Rise Skinny Jean // Madewell Leopard Loafer (currently 25% off!)

Authentic Stretch Mid Rise Skinny Jean in Deep Indigo // A CLASSIC pair of skinny jeans I wear on repeat. These jeans do have quite a bit of stretch and the deep indigo shade is very flattering. I usually wear these with flats or loafers, because I don’t think they look that flattering with clunky sneakers.

 

THREE // Authentic Stretch High Rise Button Fly

 

Authentic Stretch High Rise Button Fly // Madewell Loafers (currently 25% off!)

Authentic Stretch High Rise Button Fly in Washed Black // Similar to the Authentic Stretch Mid Rise, but these are a higher rise and button fly. They definitely sit higher on my waist, nearly up to my belly button. Again, this pair does have stretch to them. I prefer these over my Madewell button fly black jeans in terms of fit and quality. (and price point!)

A note on the Cheeky Straight Jeans – they are one of Everlane’s most popular styles and I have ordered and tried them, but they are just not for my body type. I feel like they would look best on a straight body type? Unfortunately they just made me look like an 80s mom with no butt… So, returned that pair.
