Put a Belt On It (Plus, 5 Things I Want to do this October)

My recent quick style tip (if you can even call it that) when I want to look pulled together is simply adding a belt.  Jeans and a t-shirt, jeans and a blouse… just add a belt and you’ll feel like a real adult.

Like most girls (or so it seems) fall is my favorite season… favorite fashion (hello layers!), favorite foods, favorite activities. Although we had a bit of a heat wave in Columbus this past weekend, I still went and got pumpkins, sunflowers for the kitchen and baked fresh pumpkin bread!  Here’s a few things I’d like to do while the leaves change…

ONE // Bake an apple pie from scratch. (We went apple picking last weekend, so I have plenty of apples ready to go!)

TWO // Do a closet purge for the season and invest in a few new pieces.

THREE // Carve a pumpkin and make toasted pumpkin seeds.

FOUR // Make both sweet and savory stovetop popcorn and watch Hocus Pocus.

FIVE // Teach a Halloween-themed Yoga Sculpt class.
