My freshman and sophomore years of college were the glory days of the jean skirt. It was basically my uniform for every occasion. Class? Denim skirt. Party? Denim skirt. It seemed to be my all-purpose wardrobe wonder. So when the jean skirt started to have a resurgence starting in spring, I was definitely on-board.
Luckily the hemlines have gotten a bit longer since the distressed miniskirts from Abercrombie I used to sport. I had been browsing for the perfect skirt and found this one from Madewell and also ordered this one from Everlane. Unfortunately the Everlane sizing ran a little small (I would recommend going one size up) but I still would like to snag one in black once its back in stock. I’m also a big fan of the basic jean skirt from Levi’s, the denim expert. What do you think? Are you on-board with the jean skirt moment?
