How to Style Blundstone Boots

First of all, what a weekend! Genuinely hope you are doing well during this historic moment.

Now onto today’s style post – Zak surprised me with a pair of Blundstone boots for Sweetest Day this year (gift giving is his love language) and at first I felt like they were a bit too ‘granola’ looking for my style. Love a good Chelsea boot, but these seemed more appropriate for someone who actually likes… camping. BUT, I gave them a shot with some thick, warm socks and SURPRISE SURPRISE I’ve been wearing them non-stop!

I got the Blundstone 550s and they were comfortable right out of the box with socks. Zero break in time, which is key! I am usually an 8.5 or 9 in all shoes and I went with my usual size 9. They really are the perfect shoe for walking around the city, walking through leaves and keep my feet warm and dry! I’ve walked through puddles and wet leaves and they hold up and will probably get even better with age.

In terms of styling, I find they look best with skinny jeans, wool socks and a sweatshirt. I tried them with wider cropped jeans, but everything was just too… clunky? Skinny jeans are best with these boots. They also look super cute with leggings, an oversized sweatshirt and thick socks peeking out!
