I am so perplexed by summer 2021 fashion trends. Prairie dresses, mom jeans, crop tops? None of these things look good on me, so I’m still proudly sporting athleisure, especially while working from home.
Lululemon On The Fly Jogger // Everlane Sweatshirt // Nike Sneakers
Last year I fell in LOVE with the Lululemon ‘On The Fly’ Joggers and still wear them all the time. For awhile they were a top seller on my LikeToKnowIt page, and for a good reason. Unfortunately, Lululemon is ‘sunsetting’ (AKA their fancy was of saying ‘discontinuing’) these exact joggers for the season, however they have an extremely similar pair called the Stretch High Rise Jogger. I tried them on in store and they really are nearly the same as the ‘On The Fly’ pair.
So, why do I love the Lululemon joggers? First, the material. They are made from their Luxtreme fabric which is stretchy, but has shape retention. It’s so smooth, soft and doesn’t pill. And these joggers just hang on me so nicely. After a year of wearing them, the material has held up so well!
How do you wash them? I wash my Lulu joggers on cold cycle and air dry. I definitely avoid the dryer and extreme heat so the Luxtreme fabric stays intact.
What size do you wear? I have the On The Fly joggers in a size 6. I’m usually a size 4 or 6 in all things Lululemon. I find they generally run on the small side.

Recently my friend Amy introduced me to an Amazon dupe for the Lululemon joggers and they are GREAT! For $30, heck yes they are a steal and look very similar to the Lulu pair!
How are they similar? They really are the same shape, length and similar material to the Lulu joggers. The fabric is similar to the Luxtreme, but I can tell they will likely pull or pill a bit quicker than the Lulu pair. Still so comfortable and lightweight, just not quiteeeee the same quality fabric.
What size do you wear? I bought these in a size small and they fit well, just a bit more snug on my thighs than the Lulu pair. I could have maybe sized up to the medium to have them looser on my legs, but I think the medium would have been too large on my waist. But in general, they fit great and are the same length on me as the ‘On The Fly’ jogger. (For reference, I’m 5’5)
Overall, I give the Amazon joggers a 9.5/10! Definitely a steal and same style as Lululemon. Just docking half a star for the material not being quite as wonderful as the Luxtreme. But, still a great find from Amazon!
