The Full Scoop on Everlane’s New Court Sneaker

I probably sound like a broken record by now, but since moving to Chicago sneakers are 100% my go-to shoe, especially in the spring and summer. Since I walk nearly everywhere… to the train, the grocery store, a work out class… I was in sneakers 90% of the time last summer. So, I was PUMPED when I learned Everlane was launching a new sneaker! I received my pair about a week ago courtesy of Everlane and was able to give them a proper walking tour of the city in the name of research. I wore them fresh out of the box for about 2 miles while running errands and I’m happy to report I arrive back home with ZERO blisters! Woot woot! Answering a few questions I’ve received via DM since these sneakers launched…

Do they run true to size? Yep! I’m normally a 9 in most shoes. Sometimes an 8.5 if they run large (plus I think my feet are shrinking with age?), but I received this in a size 9 and wore with a no-show ankle sock and they fit perfectly.

Are they comfortable and do they have support? Again, yes! I had zero blisters or rubbing the first time I wore them. And yes, there is some sort of squishy arch support in there, but not as much support as the original Tread sneakers. Overall, very comfortable and more support versus a flat Converse sneaker.

How do you keep them white? They are leather and very easy to wipe clean! My trick for keeping all my white sneaks sparkly clean is a Mr. Clean Magic Eraser! It’s been my trick for years. Keeps them looking brand new.

How do they compare to the Tread sneaker? Everlane’s original Tread Trainer sneakers are a clunkier ‘cool dad’ sneaker. They are definitely more of a trainer style and you can see them in this post! The new Court sneaker isn’t as chunky and is more streamlined. More of an everyday sneaker to wear with jeans or a skirt.

How do they compare to Veja sneakers? I do love my Veja sneakers and think they’re super cute. My one gripe with Veja is that the tongue is a little stiff and I had a small blister on the top of my foot the first time I wore them. The court sneakers are a similar low rise around the ankle and a cute, everyday shoe.

Are they lightweight? Yes! I found them to be lightweight while walking around the city. Lighter than my Nike running shoes and great for packing for a weekend of walking.
