Weekend Stripes

If you follow me on Instagram, you may have noticed I scooped up this sweet little striped dress at the J.Crew Style Sessions last week. I’ve never met a stripe (or polka dot for that matter) that I didn’t like, so I couldn’t leave without it since it was not only on sale, but also the only one left in my size. Does this ever happen??  Rarely.

And now a note about this tote: I was wandering through T.J. Maxx this weekend, searching for a smaller, everyday bag.  (I don’t often switch my purses out).  Anyway, nothing caught my eye and I walked out a little disappointed.  Just as I was leaving, a nice woman stopped me and said she loved my bag and asked where I got it.  Yes, my slightly worn and beat up Madewell tote gets more compliments than any other other bag I own.  Lesson here?  No need to invest in a Celine, I’m keeping my Madewell.
