Friday Favorites

Wow, what a week. Clearly this was a chaotic and volatile past few days for our country and quite frankly I’m still trying to process everything. Even though there is so much negativity and divide circling, a reoccurring thought that continues to prevail is “what can I do?” What can I do to be a kinder, more accepting and giving person? What can I do to positively impact my community? If the only thing I can control is myself and my actions, then I want to show love and respect to others, always. I’ll definitely be taking the weekend to decompress and relax and look into volunteer opportunities in my surrounding community. Make it a beautiful weekend.

A few favorites from around the web…

Ellen is the best.

This is the last weekend of the Nordstrom Fall Clearance Sale. This a-line dress is perfect for those upcoming holiday parties. (with a statement necklace? Yes please!) Also love these distressed skinny jeans and so many good booties are on sale including these, these and these.

These aren’t on sale, but I just love these metallic loafers and they are still under $70.

I’ve been slowing ordering a few pieces of holiday décor. (can’t resist!) I love everything from CB2, including these modern little trees and this berry wreath.

I’m on the hunt for an affordable leather biker jacket to pair with winter dresses and boots. This might be the one.

  1. Well said. All politics is local. And damn. That biker jacket! Because life goes on.
