We’re at that slightly funky part of January where the excitement of the New Year is starting to wear off and resolutions and new habits start to fade away. (If you’ve implemented some healthy new habits – stay strong! You got this!!) It’s been a busy couple weeks for our household – some work travel, time with friends, I’m back to teaching yoga and I’ve been trying to spend less time on my phone and social media. It’s hard – I really use my phone for everything. Send your tips my way.

Anyway, this is always a tricky time for creating exciting new outfits. I’m not interested in buying anything new right now and it’s freezing outside. So timeless, all black ensembles typically win. And honestly, I am on board with this monochromatic look. Like the rest of the Netflix watchers out there, I just KonMari’d my closet (so fun, I love organizing) and you know what ‘sparks joy’ for me? Neutrals. Classic pieces that can be mixed and matched and end up looking like chic, expensive outfits. My closet mostly includes blacks, navys, whites, grey and some various shades of emerald and olive. Like, 85% of my wardrobe is neutrals at this point and it’s so much easier to get dressed in the morning.
