July Favorites

This past week I watched as my friends posted back-to-school photos of their kiddos and it fully dawned on me we’re rounding the corner to the unofficial start of fall. This summer has been busy and flew by. I don’t want to wish away time or seasons at all, but per usual I’m looking forward to autumn and those 60 degree days.

In the meantime I’m still living in light t-shirts, shorts or my obsession – The Outdoor Voices exercise skort. Here’s a few favorite things that brightened up my July!

Anastasia Brow Pencil & Gel // If you follow me on IG, you know I suffered a TRAGEDY last month and lost my entire make-up bag in the Boston airport… I was NOT well. So expensive to replace everything and I couldn’t even remember all the tools and shades I had. Anyway, I’ve been slowly but surely replacing all my cosmetics and can say I really like the Anastasia brow pencil and gel.

J.Crew New Arrivals // I traveled to Ireland again last month and packed a carry-on full of neutrals for 5 days abroad. Guys, don’t sleep on the new arrivals from J.Crew. They are so good and classic. I feel like J.Crew is back? A few favorites are their slim perfect t-shirt, this silk blend skirt and cashmere pullover sweater. Plus, their jewelry is so dainty and cute! Love these earrings and this bracelet.

The Bear // Have you watched this gem of a show on Hulu? We binged it in a weekend. It combines delicious Chicago food with real-life kitchen realities and a heart-warming story. Can’t wait for season 2.

The Skin Center // The Skin Center in Columbus is my go-to for a facial and botox. Their professional staff at their medical spa are the best to take care of my 35 year old skin. I went for a little botox on my forehead, but still wanted to look natural and not frozen. (Plus, I think tooooo much botox can make you look older?) I had a fantastic experience and will be heading back for a DiamondGlow facial to extract impurities and infuse my skin with healthy serums. Skincare and facials are my key to preventing both acne and wrinkles!

Fake // Fake by Erica Katz was my July book read all about fine art forgery. A fun and interesting (albeit fluffy) read for summer!
