I was teaching yoga on Saturday morning and afterwards a student came up and asked me what make-up I was wearing. I was completely flattered because a) I was hardly wearing anything on my face and b) I don’t think I had brushed my hair yet that morning. So, shout out to that girl! You made my day!
That morning I had put on moisturizer, under eye concealer, brow gel, mascara and a sheer lipstick. She specifically asked about my lipgloss and mascara, which is why I freaking love the Beautycounter sheer lipstick. It just looks like a hint of color and is super moisturizing with just a touch of polished sheen. I can confidently say that having clearer skin is definitely the reason for wearing less makeup and a brighter, more vibrant face. This clean facial peel is a little miracle worker. It basically clears away dead and dull cells to make your skin more vibrant. It uses a combination of 15 resurfacing acids that hydrate, replenish and protect skin. I use it 2x a week.
I use this concealer (Medium 1 is my shade) for under eyes and to cover up any pesky blemishes or redness. It’s nice, buildable coverage and reduces the appearance of fine lines (especially under eyes!) which is key.
I’ve been a big fan of the Glossier Boy Brow for about a year, but I will now argue that this.is.better. I use the Neutral Medium Brown shade and it both builds AND tames brows to make them look thicker and more natural. If I have zero time in the morning, I will just do some quick swipes of this on my brows and curl my eyelashes and run out.
I have this lipstick in two shades, Lily and Rose, and it’s the perfect lipstick for everyday. It really doesn’t feel like a lipstick at all – It’s more like a smooth, hydrating and colorful chapstick.
