The Best Booties & Loafers for Fall

Chicago is delivering on this fall weather and I’ve been equally as excited to pull out my fall booties and shoes as I have been about my sweaters. Many of my favorite pairs are classics that are always restocked, so I rounded up my top 5 favorites…

ONE // Everlane Boss Boots – Ok ok, you know I love Everlane. But these boots realllyyyy are the best. A perfect blend of sophistication and cool. They run true to size. I have them in my usual size 9 (sometimes I wear an 8.5) and I can still wear a thin sock with them all day.

TWO // Madewell Frances Loafers – I have these in a snakeskin print from last year and just purchased the leopard. (Leopard is a neutral, I tell ya!) Honestly, always feel so polished when I wear them.

THREE // J.Crew Academy Penny Loafers – I’ve had my J.Crew loafers for 3 years now and I still wear them all the time. They are very elegant and streamlined, not at all clunky like some penny loafers can be.

FOUR // Madewell Ainsley Chelsea Boots – Another boot I’ve had for years. Incredibly well made and a simple style. They do run a tish narrow, so you might want to size up a half size. They have extra cushion, so they are perfect for walking all day.

FIVE // Dr. Martens Pascal Boots – In a crazy turn of events, Dr. Martens are back in style. I haven’t owned a pair of ‘docs’ since high school, but I recently bought a pair for fall. At first I realllyyyy questioned if I could pull them off, but honestly they are so comfortable and go with both jeans and dresses, for an edgier look. Planning on posting some ‘how to style Dr. Martens’ outfit ideas soon!
