As this year comes to a close, I was reflecting on how fast and monumental this year felt. The very best day of 2018 of course being our wedding day, September 15th. I am beyond grateful how wonderful and calm the day was. I felt completely surrounded by love and incredibly chill, all at once. I will never forget seeing Zak for the first time that day and how I felt staring at him while walking down the aisle. So full, so loved.
2018 brought unexpected changes, mostly relocating to Chicago for Zak’s job shortly after we got back from our mini-moon. Moving was certainly NOT on our radar and transparently I had a lot of anxiety about it, but it was one of the greatest changes for us both personally and professionally. We love where we live. We love walking everywhere. We love the energy of the city. After a month sabbatical, I feel so lucky to have a job I’m super passionate about. The leap was all worth it and I can’t wait to see what 2019 has in store! Happy New Year!
