Our Wedding Invitations with Minted

{Disclosure: Minted provided product for me to review. However, all opinions stated here are always my own.}

It’s blowing my mind that we are nearly a month away from our wedding (ahh!) and are obviously getting into the smaller details of planning and preparation.  As we check off items from our to-do list and get into the particulars, some of it can feel very overwhelming. (drinking wine helps).  We LOVED our Save the Dates from Minted and had such a wonderful experience ordering, I knew I wanted to go with them again to design our wedding invitations.

The first step we took was reviewing all of the pre-made designs to see what would match and complement our Save the Dates.  We wanted to stick with a similar neutral color palette and style.  After narrowing it down to a few favorites, we ordered a “sample kit” of 5 top designs we loved in order to touch and feel everything and see the colors in person.  I was originally leaning towards something with a gold foil accent, but ultimately we went with a modern and simple design that goes with our Save the Dates and the vibe of our downtown venue. In fact, the design name is called “Downtown”.  (Plus, it will look so great in a frame!)

We went with a simple RSVP card design and rather than adding in an additional card for hotel details, we opted to include all the information on our Minted wedding website.  (You can peep it here!) We just found that having all the pertinent details listed on our website with booking links made everything easier for guests to have it all in one spot.  And creating and updating the website on your Minted account is incredibly easy to manage.

The ordering process was incredibly easy and I’m thrilled they offer a whole suite of paper goods for the big day.  Next up we are ordering matching place cards, programs and wedding favor stickers.  The seamless process and delivery (plus fast shipping) makes everything so simple and I can’t wait to see it all come together!
