Friday Favorites

It’s the week before Thanksgiving and I’m in a mix between jamming away on work things that need wrapped up over the next 3 days versus needing to mentally check out. Anyone else? Chicago is back in a shelter-in-place advisory for COVID, with bars and restaurants temporarily closed again. It’s rough and I’m sensing so many people have hit straight up exhaustion with this year. Ugh! Trying so hard to stay positive and make the most of it. Finding special things to do at home this holiday season. Hope you’re hanging in there!

SHOP // I’ll be posting a best of Black Friday sale round up next week, as it looks like most of the big sales will kick off Monday. I’m still very much focused on supporting small businesses this holiday season, but will likely purchase a few items and gifts during these upcoming sales.

Nordstrom Cyber Deals have already begun! These adidas running shoes are 30% off (which I may purchase, because I’m due for new running sneaks) and thermal matching PJ sets are under $50

Madewell Black Friday Deals are live now for Insiders! (i.e. if you’re signed up for Madewell’s loyalty program). A few things I love – this puff sleeve sweatshirt in the ‘Green Lane’ shade, these Sherpa slippers (I’m wearing them in the photo above!) and this fleece cardigan.

READ // I’m nearly finished with Night Swim (a good page turner!) and need a new book to start next. Send me your recos!

SWEAT // Best purchase of 2020 was undoubtedly our Peloton bike and I am loving the Beyonce classes! SUCH great playlists that keep me motivated and grooving. I just hit 250 rides this week and didn’t even realize!

WATCH // I’m in deep with Dawson’s Creek, people. Ha. This is a show I never watched in my youth, but I’m on a kick with Netflix. Some of the topics and content hasn’t always held up well (hello 90s) but it’s so innocent and a little cheesy that I love it.

LISTEN // I’ve mentioned the Be There In Five podcast on the blog before (just search ‘Be There In Five’ on Spotify), but it’s been my laugh out loud saving grace on days when I take a solo long walk and want something mindless to listen to. Kate Kennedy is hilarious! 10/10 recommend.
