Top Purchases of 2021

This phrase is starting to sound like a cliché, but I can’t believe it’ll be 2022 on Saturday. The holiday season went by so quickly and yet I look back at this year and some moments felt excruciatingly slow. What a wild year overall… Started off still deep in covid, mad dash to get vaccinated, squeezed in some travel, Delta variant, booster, holidays, Omicron. Woof, doesn’t sound great when it’s summarized like that, but there were still some wonderful moments this year. Honestly thank goodness we were able to get out a bit and travel and see friends. Not sure if I could have spent another year completely stuck at home!

I wanted to do a round up of my favorite purchases of 2021, plus a few honorary mentions of my best buys from 2020 that I still use every day. I asked the question on Instagram about what YOUR favorite buys were this year and your responses were a solid temperate check as to where our brains were at this year. Sharing your responses below!

My Favorite Purchases of 2021

CB2 Infinity Mirror // We purchased this floor mirror in January and are still obsessed with it. It’s huge and so modern and pretty. It will be timeless for years to come.

ALO Airlift Leggings // I’ve consistently been a Lululemon legging lover for years, but these high waist leggings from ALO are my most recent obsession. They are SO GOOD on the booty and are a nice balance of compression without being too tight. Highly recommend giving them a try.

Dyson Air Purifier // This fan + air purifier combo has greatly improved our sleeping situation. It shows you the quality of the air on the app and then the fan and purification sucks up all the dust particles. It rotates and keeps us both cool at night. And the satisfaction of seeing all the dust it sucked up when we replace the filter is unmatched.

Barbour Coat // I bought this coat before we took a trip to Maine and Vermont in the fall and it was the PERFECT layer. I denied myself this jacket for years because of the price, but I have to say it’s timeless and absolutely the perfect weight and warmth for the fall. For a photo of the jacket, I’m wearing it here. I sized up to a 6 so I could wear it over thick sweaters.

The Everygirl Planner // If you’re still into writing things down in a paper planner like yours truly, well, I highly recommend the Everygirl planners at Target. The layout is ideal – You can write down meetings and appointments, plus your to-do list for the day and goals. I’m been on the hunt for the 2022 version at my local Target, but they already have them online.

Honorable mentions from 2020 that I still use every day:

Blundstone Chelsea Boots

The Always Pan

Nespresso Vertuo with Frother

And now for YOUR responses on your best purchases this year:

Air Fryer

Roomba

Mini Uggs

Sateen Sheets

Beyond Yoga Pants

Rothy’s

Natalie Martin Dresses

Air Force One Shadow Sneakers

Mille dresses
