6 Affordable Field Jackets

As soon as the weather breaks (seriously, it better stay in the 60s…) I’m ready to send my winter coats to the dry cleaners (#buhbye) and pull out my spring layers. I’ve always been a fan of field jackets, or utility jackets/anoraks/whatever the cool kids are calling them these days. I’ve had this one from J.Crew for a few years and it’s just the right amount of weight and warmth. I’ve rounded up a few field jackets below at a variety of price points. Happy spring, friends.

ONE // Abercrombie Shirt Jacket // $48
TWO // J.Crew Factory Cotton Jacket // $65
THREE // Everlane Modern Utility Jacket (my favorite!) // $78

  1. Could you clarify which cost you are wearing in the photos? I followed the link to the j crew uncoated downtown field jacket, but the jacket in the link had different buttons and seems to be a different jacket. Thanks!

    • Hi Rebecca-
The jacket I’m wearing is from J.Crew from about 2016, so I don’t know that they carry this exact one any longer.
      This one is very similar!

      • Thank you! Are there any utility or field jackets you would recommend that have more blue undertones and/or are lighter in color? I can’t wear olives because they are too yellow-undertoned, and I’m having a really hard time finding a good jacket.
