I’ve yet to be overly emotional about our wedding and planning thus far (other than the day we got engaged, of course!) but my bridal shower a few weekends ago was definitely an exception. As soon as I walked into my “second mom” Darlene’s home I immediately started tearing up. All of the details were exceedingly special – everything from the delicately rolled napkins, to the custom cookies to the fun mimosa bar. I felt so incredibly loved and it was such a treat to spend a morning with so many wonderful people in my life, but even more touching to know just how well they know me. We are beyond grateful for friends that really are family and those that planned and shared in such a beautiful morning.
What a beautiful shower this was! Every detail was attended to and I’m so sorry I had to miss it!
