My Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Top Picks

ATM T-Shirt (wearing a small) // Gorjana Parker Necklace // Similar Jeans // Old loafers, but similar here

As I mentioned in my post on the #NSale last week, it’s a bit of a weird year for shopping and buying a full-blown fall wardrobe. But, the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is also kind of a fun, bright spot to browse some awesome deals and good staples to use and wear while we are all at home.

I’m excited to purchase some cozy basics and fun items to make working from home and quarantining a bit more fun and enjoyable. Some new joggers, sneakers, sports bras, candles and slippers. During a year where we are all watching our finances, just ask yourself what you really need or realllyyy want versus throwing money at a pair of boots you might not be wearing out anytime soon.

Just a reminder on the dates you can start shopping for Cardholders – It’s a tiered approach based on how much you spend each year with Nordstrom. If you’re like me and just a regular cardholder and not dropping $$$ at Nordstrom annually, then your first date to shop the sale is August 13th! If you spend at a higher tier level, it’s August 7th for ‘Ambassadors’ and August 10th for ‘Influencers’. Don’t fret if not, the sale opens to the public on August 19th and they always seem to restock items on that date!

Anytime you click through one of my links and make a purchase, I make a small commission and it supports this small business of blogging! And then I do a little happy dance on the other side of my screen. Zero pressure to shop, just being transparent and saying that I appreciate you. For real.

Ok, let’s get to it. Here’s a round up of my top picks I plan to purchase this year…

Joggers // The ultimate working from home pant.

Running Sneakers // I usually always buy new running shoes during this sale because they are such a good deal. In between the Adidas or Cloud X which has great reviews!

Barefoot Dreams Long Cardigan // I purchased one of these long sweaters a few years ago and it’s the ULTIMATE. Will I wear this while working from my kitchen island? Yes.

Candle(s) // I’ve seriously been burning candles every evening while quarantining as an everyday little luxury. In between this Anthro candle or this fancy Diptyque set.

Zella Sports Bra // My friend said this sports bra is the best, so trying one out for Peloton classes and running.

Hanky Panky Underwear // I ALWAYS stock up on these cult favorites during this sale.

Oribe Dry Shampoo Duo // This price is amazing. I have been obsessed with Oribe for years and use the dry shampoo everyday to give my roots a lift. Definitely going to stock up.

Free People Sweater // Ok, probably don’t need this one, but I really really like this sweater and feel like it would be cute with jeans and leggings alike.

ALSO wanted to share a list of items that are included in the sale that I already own. I use many of these beauty products daily and wear these pieces all the time!

Anastasia Brow Kit // I haven’t had my eyebrows professionally cleaned up since February, so they are a bit wild. I love this brow pencil to fill in any sparse areas and the gel to keep them in place!

Oribe Dry Shampoo // Already mentioned this one, but I use this dry shampoo daily. Definitely stocking up on this.

Moroccan Hair Oil // I wrote about keeping my quarantine hair healthy in this blog post, and I use a couple drops of Moroccan oil daily on the ends of my damp hair. Keeps it looking healthy and fresh!

Kiehl’s Crème de Corps // We have this in our bathroom and Zak and I both use it. Great lotion for sensitive skin. The jumbo size lasts forever.

T3 Curling Iron // You may not be curling your hair much these days (I’m all about air drying right now, too), but I have to say if you’re on the market for a new curling iron this is the BEST one I’ve used. I invested in a T3 curling iron in February (womp wompppp) and it makes the most perfect waves. You hold it on your strands for like 4 seconds and the waves stick. Just comb through the curled strands and voila! Effortless waves that last.

Hanky Panky Low Rise Underwear // Buy these every year, wear them all the time. Favorite brand.

Veja Sneakers // I bought two different pair of Veja’s last year and only have great things to say about the brand and quality. Love to wear my white sneakers with any outfit from shorts to dresses to joggers.

Spanx Faux Leather Leggings // Bought these last year before the holiday season and they are the perfect legging to wear when you want to feel a little bit fancy. I wore them lounging around at my in-laws last Christmas with a giant sweater and felt cute, but perfectly comfortable.

Patagonia Better Sweater // I’ve had this half-zip sweatshirt for years and it’s just a great, easy, comfortable top to throw on lounging at home or outside for an evening walk. Also LOVE this Wubby Fleece pullover.

Anthropologie Jar Candle // Currently have two of these in our home and always have a back up on hand. My favorite candle to burn during evenings at home.

Hydroflask // I got one of these as a Christmas gift last year and I still use it while working from home to make sure I’m drinking enough water. I love this new version with the straw lid!

Bombas Ankle Socks // Never thought I would be passionate about socks, but these Bombas are the best to run in. So comfortable, slightly padded and don’t fall down.
