Happy Christmas Week! Even though we are staying home in Chicago for the holiday, I’m really looking forward to a break away from work and down time to just relax. Hopefully will go on some cold runs or walks, watch movies, drink hot cocoa, read a book and enjoy an occasional midday nap.
I’ve been reflecting back on this weird and wild year and the purchases that I’ve used everyday that have improved my life, even in the smallest of ways. So I wanted to share my top purchases from this year and would love to hear about yours in the comments!
PELOTON BIKE // This should be no surprise since I’ve talked about the Peloton many times, but man, I don’t think I would have survived this year without it. I start each morning with a quick ride to help me wake up and usually hop on again in the evening after work. It’s such a wonderful escape and endorphin rush.
AIRPODS PRO // These were a gift and I’m not sure I would have spent the money on my own, but the noise cancelling functionality has been much needed this year. From juggling for conference call space at home with Zak to talking long walks to get out of the house, the AirPods were used every day. Especially needed when I needed to work and couldn’t escape other noises at home (dog barking, Zak on the phone, construction noise…)
YETI RAMBLER // Shoutout to my friend Amy for recommending this giant Yeti cup. I was struggling to drink enough water even while sitting at home working away and now I fill this thing multiple times a day. Sipping lemon water all day long to stay hydrated.
NESPRESSO & FROTHER // If you follow me on Instagram you know my LOVE for my morning lattes and my true frothing journey throughout the year. I’ve upgraded my frother from the handheld one I got back in the spring and we got the Nespresso and frother a few months ago. Making a fancy latte at home every morning continues to get me excited to hop out of bed.
STACKERS JEWELRY BOX // Back in April when I was reorganizing and cleaning everything we own, I bought the stacking jewelry box set from The Container Store. I still find joy in having all my earrings, necklaces, bracelets, watches, etc so perfectly organized. Everything is always easy to find!
OUR PLACE PAN // Like many other influencers and friends, I succumbed to all the Instagram ads for the beautiful pan on social media. It’s worth the hype! The non-stick is amazing, it’s the perfect size to cook multiple dishes and it cooks everything so evenly! I swear our meals have tasted better since we got this pan and the clean up process is seamless!
