Part One // Best of the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale

The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is here! Maybe you just rolled your eyes at that statement and you’ve already seen 847 bloggers post about it this week. I know, I know. Here’s the thing… It’s a sale I’ve always enjoyed shopping because ONE // you’re getting brand new fall merchandise at a discount, TWO // you can get great investment pieces (wardrobe staples, people!) at a big price cut and THREE // it’s a great time to shop for gifts!

The sale can be OVERWHELMING to navigate because there are infinite posts and guides about it and sometimes unnecessary pressure to buy something for fear of it selling out. Remember, they are just clothes! Truth moment – Endless bloggers post about the sale because it’s a top time of year to make extra commission. So yes, if you click on a link from my blog, you are in fact supporting this small business. I love and appreciate that tremendouslyyyyy, but I only post about it to provide value in terms of my reviews or what I think is WORTH IT!

Some key dates to remember: Early access starts today for Nordstrom cardholders at 12:30EST and Public Access for all starts July 19th!

Things I have bought almost every year for the past 7+ years of the sale… Underwear, running shoes, coats. Really great staples that last. So, here’s my ‘best of’ list, part one!

Hunter Original Packable Rain Boot // Sale: $99.90, After Sale: $150

I got my Hunter Boots 5+ years ago and they are still in great shape. Now that we live in Chicago, I wear them even more often since I walk most places. They work great for both rain and snow with thick socks!

Shop

Halogen Long Sleeve Tissue Tee // Sale: $24.90, After Sale: $39

A great wardrobe staple to layer or wear on their own. Since they are so lightweight you don’t have to wait until fall to pull them out.

Shop

Hanky Panky Low Rise Thong // Sale: $16.90 (or 4 for $59), After Sale: $23

Hands down favorite underwear 7 years straight. Super comfortable, one size fits all. If you want full coverage, I also LOVE these bikinis from Natori. On sale for under $15!

Shop

Natori Feathers Underwire Contour Bra // Sale: $49.90, After Sale: $68

Again, favorite bra and buy these every.single.year! Great t-shirt bra that doesn’t show through.

Shop

Wubby Fleece Pullover // Sale: $49.90, After Sale: $78

This guy sold out last year before I was able to snag it and I’m determined to get one this year. It’s sooo cozy! Like being wrapped up in a fluffy cloud on the couch or perfect for when fall temps hit.

Shop

Patagonia Better Sweater Pullover // Sale: $88.90, After Sale $119

If the Wubby fleece is too, well, wubby and fuzzy for you, this Patagonia one is great! Have one and wore it last year in the fall in Cape Cod. So great and easy to pack or wear on a flight.

Shop

Blondo Waterproof Knee-High Suede Boots // Sale: $159.90, After Sale: $240

These have been on my wardrobe staple wish list for a while now and this feels like the year to get them since I walk nearly everywhere in the city. Chic and suede and waterproof!!

Shop

Rebecca Minkoff Embossed Leather Circle Crossbody // Sale: $185.90, After Sale: $278

Rebecca Minkoff bags typically sell out during the NSale and I’ve been searching for a nicer crossbody bag. I’ve never really been a ‘fancy bag’ person, but this one is pretttyyyyy and will last for years.

Shop

Madewell Remi Mule // Sale: $54.90, After Sale: $88

I’ve always loved Madewell shoes (high quality and truly ‘made well’) and have their mules from last year. Animal print is always a neutral!

Shop

BP Lace Trim Camisole // Sale: $25.90, After Sale: $39

This was a 2018 bestseller and a great wardrobe staple basic in black and cream. You can wear it on its own, under a cardigan, blazer, and so on. It’s a GREAT basic!

Shop

Madewell Transport Tote // Sale: $131.90, After Sale: $198

If you’ve been a longtime reader of Sharing My Sole, you know I luurrvvv my Transport Tote and have had one (or multiple) for years. Fits everything, comfortable straps, lasts for years and looks even better with age as the leather gets buttery and worn.

Shop

BP Leopard Midi Slipdress // Sale: $38.90, After Sale: $59

Ok, this dress is a bit of a wildcard for me but I feel like with an over-sized sweater layered over it and booties it could be so cute! And for under $40 I can’t say no.
