OYUN Sweatshirt c/o // Lululemon High Rise Tights // Lululemon Water Bottle
Between the time change and unexpected snow storm dumped on Chicago, it’s that time of year when sweatpants and the couch are calling my name after work instead of the gym. It’s so easy to fall into the trap of staying cozy at home instead of moving your body, so I wanted to share my top places for fitness classes! Because what’s more motivating than a group class and pre-paying for your workout?
Since stepping away from teaching yoga in order to find more balance and time to work out myself, I’ve been popping in and out to new studios in the Gold Coast and updated my list from this post over the summer…
SoulCycle // My TRUE guilty pleasure. Guilty because it’s so expensive, pleasure because it’s an AWESOME work out and makes me feel amazing. Ultimately I like it more than Flywheel and find I push myself harder in this class, love the music and community.
Studio Three // I’ve taken a few different classes at Studio Three via Class Pass and like their Hi Def class for a little bit of yoga, a little bit of weights and a lot of sweat.
CorePower Yoga // Will always be a fan since I did my teacher training with CP. Excited for the new location in the Loop to open up soon!
Studio Lagree // Ugh, that Pilates Megaformer is killer! I’ve only been to Studio Lagree once in River North, but it’s an awesome and challenging work out that will undoubtedly leave you sore!
Where are your favorite spots to work out in the winter? Share below in the comments so I can check them out!
