Simple Fall Decor Ideas

It’s been a few years since I’ve had my front porch in Ohio to fully decorate with pumpkins and mums, but even living in a downtown apartment in Chicago, I love adding small, cozy touches for the changing seasons. I don’t go crazy decorating for Halloween or Thanksgiving, but just add some elevated, warm touches to our coffee table, bar cart and kitchen island.

The Anthropologie Pumpkin Clove candle is arguably my favorite fall scent to the point where I HOARD these candles. I have two back-ups in the closet for when the current one burning on our coffee table runs out. It’s sooo good.

Because I like a little spooky moment, I added this golden skull to our coffee table with some ghost pumpkins I picked up at Trader Joes. I love our evil eye coasters from Anthropologie. We keep them out all year round, but they have a slight Hocus Pocus vibe when paired with a skull.

I also snagged a skull bottle of vodka for our bar cart. Crystal Head, I believe? Found it at Binny’s in Chicago, but I’m assuming you could find it at most liquor stores. I’m just here for the packaging, not the quality of the vodka.

Perhaps a dangerous choice, but we have a glass canister on our kitchen island filled with Halloween candy next to another tiny pumpkin candle.

How do you decorate for fall at home??
