The Only Jacket You Need This Spring

Everlane ReNew Anorak c/o (fits oversized, I’m wearing an xs) // Everlane Shrunken Hoodie (wearing a small) // Everlane Kick Crop Denim (wearing a 27) // Veja Sneakers (incredibly comfy!!) // Everlane Day Market Tote

Back in January I wrote a post on 5 things I’m glad I own living in the city. It was definitely more winter weather focused, but lately I’ve been thinking about a couple springtime pieces that make city living easier.

Hunter boots are still on my list, as well as a cute backpack, compact umbrella and airpods. (who knew dealing with cords would be such a pain when you’re commuting?!) Another must-have is a lightweight and water-resistant jacket with a hood. The ever-changing weather has been no joke and this versatile anorak has been ideal to throw on as I head out the door or pack in my work bag.

For reference, this Everlane ReNew Anorak runs large, as I’m wearing an xs. I love the length though (I’m 5’5) since it hits my thigh, above the knee. Three more reasons I love this jacket… 1) It’s lightweight and packable. I recently packed it in my suitcase and it folds up easily and takes up little space! 2) It’s machine washable! Yesss! You can either tumble dry it on low or air dry, which is a BIG plus. 3) It’s made entirely from 100% recycled fabric! The fact that Everlane makes environmentally responsible clothing makes me love them even more, beyond the fact that this jacket is the perfect style for spring.

  1. Your description and great photos on this springtime jacket makes me order one asap!!!

Living in a tropical climate you always need to be quickly ready for late afternoon rain. Love the information about being able to wash it.

Thanks for your post, always feel your right on.
